Your mission

About the Role: As Project Delivery Manager at Sweetch Energy, you will be responsible for setting up / leading a project management office in charge of EPC power projects delivery in our targeted areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead EPC project execution, ensuring projects delivery as per contractual commitments (technical performance, budget, timeline, etc…)

  • Ensure a consistent approach (technical) on all projects, in alignment with good practices, policies and guidelines of the Industry Division.

  • Manage, support, mentor Project Managers.

  • Become the direct “escalation line” for technical matter during project execution, working / coordinating closely with Project Engineering.

  • Be responsible to foster a pro-active Health and Safety culture within the projects execution as well with the main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers

  • Organize and monitor projects reviews.

  • If required, support project managers & procurements managers during contract negotiation with key contractors / suppliers.

The ideal profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering.

  • 5+ years’ experience in complex project execution (EPC), ideally in project management of power or water or desalination projects.

  • Strong project management knowledge (scope, costs, time, quality, HSE, risks, …), able to coordinate several workstreams running in parallel.

  • Good technical knowledge of common engineering fields (civil, hydraulic, electrical).

  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A collaborative and team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to summarize and facilitate projects decision-making process through a pragmatic and practical approach

  • Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks and workloads in accordance with project operational constraints.

  • Persuasive power and influence capabilities, managing stakeholders’ expectations by tailoring presentations, communications

  • Thoroughness and organizational skills: good assessment capabilities, able to suggest improvements for activities involving itself and others

  • Great interest in renewable energy.

  • Flexibility to interact and travel within multicultural environments, with people coming from various levels of the Business environment (project sponsors, managers, project teams, executives...).

  • Proficiency in Windows based business software applications, including Word, Excel, MSProject and PowerPoint.

  • Fluent in French/English
